The Sapphire Princess

Staff member Lisa recently took her family on Sapphire Princess.

Ports:

  • Singapore
  • Nha Trang (Vietnam)
  • Ho Chi Minh City (Vietname)
  • Bangkok, Thailand
  • Ko Samui (Thailand)
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Penang (Malaysia)
  • Kota Kinabulu (Malaysia)

What can the kids do?

The Sapphire Princess has on board 3 Kids Clubs for all parent’s needs and children’s wants:

  • The Tree House: ages 3 to 7
  • The Lodge: ages 8 to 12
  • The Beach House: ages 13 to 17

Each Kids Club has a wide range of activities every day for your kids to participate in such as movie evenings, treasure hunts, arts and crafts, board games or just simply hanging out with other teenagers.

Best yet, the Kids Club and the cruise does give parents the option of letting your children have sign out privileges of any of the clubs (except the Beach House as older children don’t need to be signed in or out). The staff then give the parents a buzzer for when the children would like to be collected or are getting upset.

Food???

The Sapphire Princess has a wide range of amazing food with and incredibly attentive staff who are committed to making you children have the best dinner that could ever want.

For more formal dining, go to the Dining Room where they have a different menu every night.

There’s a Trident Grill next to the main pool with the best cheeseburgers you could ever want, available for lunch, dinner or just a good quick snack. The Trident Grill also serves chips and hot dogs as well as a pizza bar right next to it with the biggest slices you could want.

The Horizon Court serves all main meals if you would like the more relaxed dining environment. The buffet has a wide range of options, and you can freely take your plate of food and eat alongside the pool or out on the deck.

The Grand Plaza, located at the ship’s centre, is the international café with 24 hour dining of soup, cakes, mini sandwiches or croissants. Your children will love the range of lovely dining snacks and can go any time to the Grand Plaza and be served instantly. The café also has a number of regular gluten free options catering for any of you or your children’s needs.

There’s also a fantastic Swirls ice cream bar available at anytime you feel like and especially perfect for Movies under the Stars.

The Sapphire Princess also has 24 hour room service which comes at no extra charge (except for pizza items). The Sapphire Princess guarantees that you will never be left feeling hungry aboard!

Drinks?

Unlimited soda packages are available from around $8 per person per day. This package covers cool drink, mock tails, juice, hot chocolate at any time of day, and is attached to your cruise card so you can get a drink at any of the bars or restuarants on the ship. Your kids should definitely try the delicious hot chocolates!

In summary…

The Sapphire Princess might just be the best possible choice for the sublime family cruise, perfectly catered to your children’s ultimate joy. Affordable prices, fantastic food and drinks, plenty of activities, it is simply impossible to be left feeling bored or hungry on the Sapphire Princess. We guarantee it!
